ZAZ began her studies at the CIAM music school in Bordeaux at the age of 20, sang even then in the Latin rock band &#;Don Diego&#; and spent many hours a day on stage at the cabaret &#;Les trois Maillets&#; in Paris.     Bio

    Isabelle Geoffrey, aka ZAZ, born in Tours, France in , is considered the heir of French star Edith Piaf, even if ZAZ’s unique sound is inspired by the rhythm and influences stemming from the Thirties, jazz, and Latin soul.

    Musician but also the founder of “Zazimut”, an association supporting non-profit organizations, ZAZ began her artistic path as part of the Fifty Fingers blues band and then became one of the four voices of the band Izarz-Adatz, with whom she performed for two years.

    In , she published her first solo album, the homonym ZAZ, which brought her to the top of Francophile countries’ charts. The single “Je veux”, extracted from the album, topped the charts of many European countries, including Italy. The same year, she toured to promote the album and performed in the main French and European cities.

    Her second album Recto Verso was published three years later. ZAZ herself defined this project as «two sides of my personality». The album was certified platinum.

    Not even a year has passed that in ZAZ published her third effort, Paris, dedicated to the city and to France. For this work, she paired with Quincy Jones, who produced the album, and sang a duet with Armenian songwriter Charles Aznavour for the memorable song “J’aime
