      Viktor Tretyakov literally can be called one of the symbols of the Russian violin school. Viktor Tretyakov was born into a musical family in Siberian town Krasnoyarsk. He started his musical education in Irkutsk, continued it at the Central Music School and brilliantly finished it at the Moscow State Conservatory in the class of the legendary teacher Yuri Yankelevich who admired his outstanding talent.

      In 1966 Viktor Tretyakov won the first prize of the International Tchaikovsky Competition. Since that time, his glorious concert life as a violinist has begun. He successfully performs all over the world as a soloist, and in an ensemble with many outstanding conductors and musicians of our time, takes part in various international festivals.

      He travels with concert tours to the UK, USA, Germany, Austria, Poland, Japan, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Belgium, Scandinavian countries and Latin America.
