Despite the inconstancy of his career, the son of Almería-born guitarist Miguel el Tomate is considered to be one of the great flamenco tocaores. He learned to play together with his father and was already accompanying top cante figures when still a boy. In the '70s his way of performing toque was all the rage. He received the Honor Award of the National Guitar Contest of Jerez's Los Cernícalos Peña in 1973 and Spanish Television dedicated a special feature to him in the program ‘Raíces’.

He recorded two albums with Universal, re-released in 1999 with the title ‘Grabaciones históricas. Flamenco es Universal. Niño Miguel’, an album currently unpublished. He seldom appeared on stages and in fact, Seville's 3rd Bienal de Flamenco virtually meant his farewell. Having paid tribute to the greatness of his compositions are guitarists such as his nephew Tomatito and Rafael Riqueni. Indispensable pieces stand out from his musical legacy such as the fandango ‘Brisas de Huelva’ and the waltz ‘Lamento’, fortunately transcribed under the title ‘Guitarra gitana. El Niño Miguel’.

Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.^[5][6][7][8] Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the direct inspiration for the name from Duong, Lee, and Wang came from an equivalent scene in the 1992 Canadian film Léolo.^[9]

Since January 2010, Rotten Tomatoes has been owned by Flixster, which was in turn acquired by Warner Bros. in 2011. In February 2016, Rotten Tomatoes and its parent site Flixster were sold to Comcast's Fandango ticketing company.^[10] Warner Bros. retained a minority stake in the merged entities, including Fandango.^[1]
