RICHMOND, Virginia––Kevin Antle, 63, the former high school dork from Bettendorf, Iowa who for decades has passed himself off as the self-professed animal training guru “Bhagavan” and the alleged conservationist “Doc” Antle, on October 3, was fined the maximum $2, for each of four felony convictions, for a total of $10,
Antle also lost his Virginia state permit to deal in exotic wildlife for five years, and was sentenced to serve two years in prison, “with time suspended for each felony charge,” reported Tannock Blair of WRIC-TV in Richmond, Virginia.

Antle was on June 16, convicted by a member Frederick County Circuit Court jury on two felony counts of wildlife trafficking, plus two felony counts of conspiring to traffic wildlife.

Bhagavan Mahamayavi "Doc" Antle[1] (born Kevin Antle; March 16, ), is an American animal trainer, roadside zoo operator, and felon convicted of wildlife trafficking.[2][3]
Antle began raising dogs in his youth,[4] and started operating a private zoo in [3][5] Antle has worked as an animal trainer for films including Ace Ventura and Dr. Doolittle in addition to appearing as a guest on several television shows.[6] In , he was featured in the first season of Netflix true crime documentary series Tiger King. Antle was the su
